Academic Biography

I earned my high school diploma in Mathematics and Physics from Albroz high school in Karaj. Following that, I attended Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Solid Mechanics under the supervision of professor Mahmood Mehrdad Shokrieh. I then moved to Sharif University of Technology (SUT) to pursue a PhD in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics. After becoming a PhD candidate, I decided to leave the program to explore a different path in mathematics and computer science. I am currently a graduate student in computer science at Sharif University of Technology, working under the supervision of professor Nezam Mahdavi-Amiri.

Research Interests

I have a keen interest in theoretical foundations of Artificial Intelligence (AI), its applications and various facets. Specifically, I am intrigued by Machine Learning (ML) and its sub-categories, such as Reinforcement Learning (RL) and Deep Learning (DL). I am eager to delve into the underlying theory, focusing particularly on optimization and probability aspects, as well as exploring related algorithms and their applications.
